Question 1

Is BOQU a manufacturer or a trading company?

Accepted Answer

BOQU is a manufacturer. Founded in 2007, Shanghai Boqu Instrument Co., Ltd. designs, produces and tests its sensors and analyzers in two Shanghai facilities (Kangqiao and Lingang) with 4,632 m² of floorspace, 200+ employees and an annual output of more than 100,000 instruments.

Question 2

Which certifications do BOQU water quality instruments hold?

Accepted Answer

Production is managed under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems, and products carry CE, SGS and FDA related certifications. The pH5806 high temperature pH sensor has also been awarded the Shanghai Brand certification.

Question 3

What signal outputs and communication protocols are available?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the model, BOQU online analyzers provide 4-20 mA analog outputs, relay alarm contacts and RS485 Modbus RTU communication. IoT digital sensors output RS485 Modbus RTU directly, so they can connect to PLC, DCS, SCADA or cloud gateways without a separate transmitter.

Question 4

Can BOQU sensors be used in high-temperature fermentation and steam sterilization?

Accepted Answer

Yes. BOQU operates a dedicated high-temperature water quality sensor laboratory, and its high-temperature pH and DO sensors such as the pH5806 and DOG-208FA are designed for bioreactors, fermenters and hot process lines that undergo repeated steam sterilization.

Question 5

Do you offer OEM and ODM services?

Accepted Answer

Yes. BOQU supports OEM and ODM projects including private labeling, custom housings, cable lengths, measuring ranges, firmware and communication protocols, backed by an in-house R&D team.

Question 6

What information should I provide to get the right analyzer recommendation?

Accepted Answer

Please share the parameters to measure, expected range, water type, process temperature and pressure, installation method (immersion, flow-through or pipeline), required output signal, power supply and any local compliance standard. BOQU engineers will then recommend a suitable configuration.
